The battle between the producers and the distributors is still on which is affecting all the movie releases in the state. This has affected the much awaited Oru Naal Varum as well. The movie which was supposed to release on 21st of May was postponed to July 9th. However with the problems, it has been postponed and the release date is not yet fixed. One of the highlights of the movie is that superstar Mohanlal and Sreenivasan are going to share screen space after a long time.

Anwar completed and set for releasing
Prithviraj has been churning movies after movies and is currently riding the success wave. His forthcoming movie is Anwar which according to sources completed its shoot recently. The film is being directed by Amal Neerad and has Mamtha Mohandas as the female lead. Sources indicate that the movie deals with the sensitive subject of communal terrorism. Tammanah is one of the busiest actress in South India. She is popular in Tamil and Telugu movies. But recently a news came that, she is acting in Malayalam movies as opposite with Super star Mohanlal. Tammanah denied this rumor, she said till this date she didnt give date to any of Malayalam movies.
Mammootty in \"Track With Rahman
Jayaraj has signed megastar Mammootty for his next project titled Track With Rahman. The movie will be concurrently made in Malayalam, Tamil and Hindi. It is only last year that Mammootty worked with Jayaraj in the movie Loud Speaker, which also starred Gracy Singh. Track With Rahman will have actor Jayasuriya in an important character. Mammootty will don the role of a police officer called Kedarnath in all the three versions of the movie. Ample importance to music and action has been given in the movie. Music of the movie will be given by Sreenivasan and cinematography will be looked after by Ajayan Vincent. Apart from directing the movie, Jayaraj has also written the story and screenplay for Track With Rahman. The film will be officially launched on 5th July 2010 in Mumbai by Harvest Dreams Private Limited. The movie is expected to be completed in three schedules

Megastar Mammottys film Vande Mataram, also staring Arjun and Sneha in the lead roles will be released in 350 centres in Kerala and Tamil Nadu on July 15. The action-packed patriotic movie was made over last three years. It took 100 days of shooting and ten schedules to complete the movie. The film is being produced by Pankaj Pictures Henry, who had already given two superhit movies Yavanika and Marumalrchi with Mammootty. T. Aravind has directed the movie. The supporting roles, in the movie, are played by Malayalam actors Kalabhavan Mani, Jagadish, late Rajan P Dev, Jai Akash and Atul Kulkarni. The music of the film has been composed by D. Immam and Rajesh Yadav has done the camerawork. The shot taken inside Chennai central jail is the highlight of the movie along with a patriotic song Vande Matharam, crooned by ten playback singers. Time Ads is distributing Vande Mataram in Kerala, which will be released in 90 screens there.
