Shwetha Menon in \'Avalude Ravukal\' sequel

Avalude Ravukal directed by I. V. Sasi that was released in 1978, had launched the career of Seema who had gone on to become one of the busiest actresses in Malayalam. The film that explored the life of a teenage prostitute is still discussed by film enthusiasts for its bold theme. Now a sequel to Avalude Ravukal is being planned. P H Hameed who had produced films like Ee Thanalil Ithiri Neram and Manathe Kottaram, would produce and direct the film. Shwetha Menon would be playing Raji, played by Seema in Avalude Ravukal. Vijayaraghavan would be playing Somans role, while Mamukkoya would take over from Kuthiravattan Pappu.
