Rahman injured at \"Musafir\" location

Rahman, who was regarded to be one of the superstars of Malayalam films in the 1980s, has faced an accident at the set of Malayalam movie Musafir in Bangkok. While shooting a bomb blast scene for the film, the actor was hit by a shell and got injured. However, the injury is not a serious one. Since last two years, Musafir is under production in Dubai, London, and Cyprus. Pramod Pappan is directing the movie, which also stars Tamil actor Bala in the lead role. The Malayalam-Tamil-Telugu actor Rahman is making his comeback as action hero through this film, which also stars the 24 year old Mamta Mohandas, an actress and playback singer. The movie is made with a high budget and is entirely shot in foreign locations. Musafir is filmed in James Bond style. The movie also stars Lakshmi Gopalaswamy, Cochin Haneefa, Mamukkoya and P. Sreekumar in important roles. Oscar winning music composer A. R. Rahmans wife Saira Banu is the elder sister of actor Rahmans wife Mehurunisa. The actor is very close to his brother-in-law A. R. Rahman, who was present on the music release event of Musafir.
