Following reports that Shwetha Menon would do the lead role in the sequel to Avalude Ravukal, the actress had gone ahead and denied the news. However now it looks like Seema, who had stormed the screen with her Avalude Ravukal in the 70s would herself be doing the lead role in the sequel as well. The new film would have her as a rich business woman and a mother of an eighteen year old girl. Scripted by Aleppey Ashraf, the sequel will be directed by P H Hameed.
