It was very difficult for me to act in combination scenes with Aishwarya Rai in Raavanan, says Prithviraj in a matter of fact way. The reason? You cannot keep looking at her and act. At the same time, it is not all easy to take your eyes off the stunning beauty, the young superstar, who plays her onscreen husband in the Mani Ratnam magnum opus says frankly. Raju has a great opinion of the former beauty queen and the bahu of the Bachchan house. He says she is a very professional artiste and she managed to do the Hindi and Tamil versions one after the other everyday with astonishing ease. For Raju, it was his long cherished dream to play the male lead in a Mani Ratnam film. He feels this film would give him a break similar to what Mammootty and Mohanlal gained from Thalapathi and Iruvar respectively. Prithviraj says that acting under Mani Ratnams guidance gave him many unforgettable experiences. He realised several new things about himself, new facets about his own personality while working for this film. He thinks this is the best an actor can say about one of his films.
