P.G. Viswambharan\'s cremation held

Popular Director P.G. Viswambharan, who died on Wednesday morning, was cremated at Ivor Madom on the banks of the Bharathapuzha. The cremation was performed at Thiruvilwamala around 7 p.m. in presence of his close relatives and friends from the film industry. Actor Mala Aravindan, producer Punnayurkulam Bappu and art director Ambili was present there to pay their last respects to this veteran. Remembering his relationship with Viswambharan, the Megastar Mammootty said that his death was a huge loss to the Malayalam film industry. He added that director had always been applauded for his family based movies. Innocent Vincent, a renowned actor and president of the Association of Malayalam Movie Artistes, stated that the movies of Viswambharan were well-appreciated by the audience. The Directors Union and the Film Employees� Federation of Kerala (FEFKA) also offered their condolences on the death of P.G. Viswambharan. The director had breathed his last, at a private hospital in Kochi.
