Though he has a national award with him, he has not been getting many singing offers these days. With the influx of new and young talents in the industry, he has been getting very few chances this year. Meanwhile the veteran singer has turned to music direction as well. According to sources, he has started getting many offers for music composition after his composition in Thaandavam. He is also composing for the forthcoming Mohanlal starrer Oru Naal Varum.
