Christian Brothers\" set a new bench mark record

Malayalam television channels are in no mood to lose a big film because of price. Films starring the super stars like Mammootty and Mohanlal fetch a huge price considering the size of the territories. The highest price paid for the television rights of a movie so far was 2.86 crores. That was for megahit movie Twenty-20 paid by Surya TV. Now another Mohanlal film has broken that record and set a new record. Asianet has bought the television rights of Christian Brothers for a whopping 3 crores and this has set a new bench mark in Malayalam satellite television. Christian Brothers stars Mohanlal, Suresh Gopi, Sarath Kumar and Dileep in important roles. The film is about former soldier Palomattathu Varghese Mappila (Saikumar) and his sons, Christy (Mohanlal) and Joby (Dileep). Christy is a police informer in Mumbai and Joby is studying theology abroad. Sibi and Udayakrishna pen the script. Deepak Dev scores the music. Other actors in the cast include Lakshmi Rai, Kavya Madhavan and Kaniha. Anil Nair is the cameraman
